How to solve Tag libs not found error on Webshpere.

December 31, 2014

Webshpere throws tag lib not found error like the one given below, when you use shared lib.

com.ibm.ws.jsp.JspCoreException: JSPG0047E: Unable to locate tag library for uri http://www.springframework.org/tags/form

However solution to the problem is very simple. two ways you could apply here for the solution.

  1. Include the .jar file containing the .tld taglib in the lib directory (you may leave it placed on shared lib as well). In my case I included spring-webmvc-4.1.1.RELEASE to lib folder.
  2. Extract the jar file containing the taglib and put the .tld files in a folder and put entries in web.xml. here is an example. <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://www.springframework.org/tags/form</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/tld/spring-form.tld</taglib-location>
    </taglib>

A wife’s letter to her childless husband on Father’s Day

June 20, 2014

Moved me to tears in seconds.

Dani De Luca

I lay in bed the other night, hands crossed over my heart and legs pin-straight, and thought of those words:

This is not about me at all, is it? This is all about you.

That’s what you said to me when I told you I wanted to have the procedure done. A procedure that would be risky, as any procedure is, but that might point us to what’s wrong. The answer to why our children are in the clouds and not here with us.

I was angry at you for saying such a cruel thing. So I went to bed in silence and didn’t tell you to sleep with God and dream with me like I always do. I didn’t kiss you or reach for your hand in reconciliation. I simply lay there, emotionally entombed, trying not to breathe too hard or feel too much as I waited for sleep…

What Movember Taught Me About My Body

November 28, 2013

November is a wonderful month. Depending on where you are, the leaves are changing, the weather is cold enough to start wearing layers, and spiced hot wine becomes available in my grocery stores (look up glühwein and then drink it every day). I always liked the idea of participating in Movember as well. A lot of my guy friends do it, and I wanted to participate somehow, which led me to this topic.

I stopped shaving my legs about two years ago. At the time I was living in France as an au pair and I didn’t have anyone I wanted to impress. The decision was in part due to my laziness, but it was also the realization that I don’t have much by way of leg hair to begin with, so why bother?

When Movember rolled around this year, I panicked a little. Of course no one had a…

Marriage Isn’t For You

November 25, 2013

Seth Adam Smith

Having been married only a year and a half, I’ve recently come to the conclusion that marriage isn’t for me.

Now before you start making assumptions, keep reading.

I met my wife in high school when we were 15 years old. We were friends for ten years until…until we decided no longer wanted to be just friends. 🙂 I strongly recommend that best friends fall in love. Good times will be had by all.

Nevertheless, falling in love with my best friend did not prevent me from having certain fears and anxieties about getting married. The nearer Kim and I approached the decision to marry, the more I was filled with a paralyzing fear. Was I ready? Was I making the right choice? Was Kim the right person to marry? Would she make me happy?

Then, one fateful night, I shared these thoughts and concerns with my dad.

Perhaps each…

The English Language On Word Order Depends

November 25, 2013

Live to Write - Write to Live

I-need-you-I-miss-you-I-love-you-3-love-10112773-1024-768While I’m hiking The Long Trail, I’m reposting old favorites. This one originally published October 22, 2013.

The English language on word order depends.

If that sentence doesn’t convince you, try this:

Take the adverb “only” and place it in different positions in the following sentence.

He said, “I love you.” (Nice thought.)

Only he said, “I love you.” (No one else said it.)

He only said, “I love you.” (He said nothing else.)

He said, “Only I love you.” (No one else does.)

He said, “I love only you.” (He doesn’t love any one else.)

He said, “I love you only.” (His love is exclusive.)

In The Elements of Style, Strunk and White advise that “Modifiers should come, if possible, next to the word they modify.” When modifiers are misplaced, the result is always ambiguity – and often hilarity as well. Consider this Classified Ad:…
